Object notes Associations
In his "A Determination of the Exact Moments of Time" (London, 1770), Samuel Dunn provided this large folding plate to compare the appearances of Venus in transit in 1761 and 1769. He also tabulated the timings of the events, drawing on his own observations and those of others, and noting the powers of the various telescopes that had been used.
