Logbooks of the Bologna astronomical Observatory for the year 1761.
Object notes Associations
The Zanotti’s observations are dated June 5th and not 6th: in fact, astronomical day started at the local noon. Morever, during all the 18th century and until 1866 (shortly after the birth of the Italian Kingdom), in Bologna the sunset time was assumed as the beginning of the day.
